Overview

TDI requires a Systems Security Engineer to provide critical support and new ideas to various technical teams supporting critical efforts across a wide variety of commercial and government customers. The work involves a variety of Cyber assessment support services for web applications, general support systems, and cloud platforms. Engage with senior commercial and civilian leaders (e.g., CISOs, CIOs, IA Managers). Provide sound technical direction and guidance for the planning, designing, directing, coordinating, conducting, and reporting of operational security testing. Demonstrated experience with Cybersecurity certifications. Perform post–test data analysis of penetration and other testing results and prepare both written and oral reports highlighting the results, and making key recommendations on improving an organization’s security posture. Work directly with VP of Service Delivery to lead and manage the company’s internal Penetration Test & Assessment Practice Area.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, perform, and report on a wide-range (e.g., authenticated, “black-box”, Red and Blue team) of penetration testing activities
  • Support on-going Assessment & Authorization activities tied to RMF, specifically around technical security control assessments
  • Engage client leadership on techniques, designs, and architectures to enhance information security aspects of their IT landscape.
  • Configure, deploy, and manage security tools (e.g., Splunk, Tenable, Accunetix, etc.) in support of penetration testing and application assessment engagements.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and reporting on implementing security “best practices” unique to a client’s environment and their existing security operations program.
  • Manage company’s internal Pentest and Security Assessment Practice Area

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of on the job experience in application, network, and infrastructure security, including increased responsibility and technical growth.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience with security related tools, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, offensive and defensive network and application exploitation.
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation expertise
  • CISSP (or equivalent)
  • US Citizen

Preferred:

  • Security Clearance
  • CEH Certification
  • BS or MS with a focus in Cybersecurity
