The Team/Operations Lead manages the customer’s entire Network Security Operations Center support program, and is responsible for serving as the main point of contact (POC), and is responsible for the overall performance of the contract.
Responsible for ensuring that contract requirements, deliverables, and service levels are met;
Meeting all technical, financial, and contractual requirements of the task order;
Ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and performance requirements;
Managing the day-to-day activities of the customer’s Network Security Operations Center;
Serving as the main POC for daily cyber security operations;
Handling day-to-day staff assignments, and providing coverage for the Network Security Operations Center; and
Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) in cyber security operations and incident response.
Security Clearance: TS/SCI
Certifications: PMP, Security+, and CEH are required; CISSP or CISM are preferred
Education and experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and 8+ years concentrated in the field of cyber security with intimate knowledge of operations, incident response, and management.
Skills: Working knowledge / hands-on experience working within and supporting a Federal Security Operations Center (SOC) environment; experience with SIEM technology, logging, Splunk, data analytics, cloud, and virtualization; broad knowledge of security technologies, processes and strategies is required; knowledge of security policy and technical standard development, secure infrastructure design reviews, multi-tiered trust zone structures, and complex networking through multiple level network security structures ; working knowledge and experience with virtualization, remote access and secure mobile technologies; knowledge of NIST and FIPS security controls; proficiency in Microsoft Office products to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and work as part of a team; and demonstrated strong oral and written communication and client facing skills.
