TDI is seeking a Human Resource Specialist who can provide both practical (i.e., day to day) and strategic (i.e., enterprise or workforce employee engagement) HR expertise for all aspects of the employee lifecycle.  This role is essential to the success of TDI’s people strategy, where our people are at the center of everything we do.

  • In partnership with recruiting, support the employee on-boarding process which includes managing and presenting new hire orientation
  • Act as a “super user” with HR systems (i.e., run reports and create data extracts) and process transfers, promotions, and terminations
  • Support the organization’s recruiting strategy on an ad-hoc basis as needed
  • Partner with our HR vendor (ADP) to support all aspects of benefits administration.
  • Work within team to conduct and support employee surveys
  • Conduct corporate training session(s) as needed, maintain records of employee participation in all training and development programs, and support the development of employee training programs
  • Analyze job duties, in coordination with recruiting write job descriptions
  • Support all aspects of total rewards (salary and compensation)
  • Assist with employee relations as needed
  • Lead updates and compliance with TDI’s employee handbook
  • Prepare government reports as to remain in compliance
  • Assist in the development of policies and procedures


  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field
  • 5+ years of HR work experience as an administrator or generalist with demonstrated experience in HR operations, Employee Relations and Benefits 
  • Ability to work approximately 20 hours per week 
  • TDI does business with the federal government, which restricts employment to individuals who are either US citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States.


Preferred Skills:

  • Cybersecurity industry knowledge and government contracting experience
  • ATS and HRIS experience
