TDI is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team to support a variety of Navy programs. This position will encompass skills in both software development and data analysis to help design, develop, and maintain data collection, aggregation, and statistical reporting tools and frameworks in support of senior leadership. This position will require an active Secret clearance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide data visualizations/dashboards, input validation, normalization, database management/administration, and ad hoc reporting
  • Implement and support the new rollout and ongoing adoption of ServiceNow.
  • Provide data analytics and development for Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity (CS) support and integration efforts
  • Develop and maintain dashboards using, Access, SQL, NoSQL databases, Tableau and Excel
  • Compile Statistical Analysis - KPIs and critical metrics
  • Maintain data collection and reporting tools using Visual Basic for Applications modules and Pivot tables
  • Compile, organize, and reconcile data between Excel and MS Access Databases
  • Work with cross functional teams to design business and technical workflows

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Security + CE (or obtained within 6 months of starting)
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing and operating Service Now
  • 3+ years of database and data analytics development experience
  • Knowledge of the following tools: Tableau, Excel, and Power Point, Python
  • Ability to create complex designs and advanced calculations (business logic and data processing)
  • Experience building and managing Macro content across multiple spreadsheets and workbooks, Scripts, and web applications.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology including best practices such as automated tests, continuous integration, shared ownership, pull requests and code reviews
  • TDI does business with the federal government, which restricts employment to individuals who are either US citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States.
  • Due to significant travel requirements, applicants for this role are required to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated prior to starting with TDI. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases – SQL, Access, Oracle, NoSQL, MongoDB
