TDI is looking for a part-time Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to TDI’s leadership team. Reporting to the VP, Strategic Programs and Operations, while based in Washington, D.C., the role will offer work hour and location flexibility. Responsibilities will involve meeting and office management, business correspondence, calendar management (at an individual and event level), tracking for compliance, analyzing documents, and supporting report preparation. This role is essential to the success of TDI’s people strategy, where our people are at the center of everything we do.  


  • Lead onsite office management and administration (i.e., onsite services, mail, office supply management, e-mail distribution lists).
  • Flawlessly manage Executive scheduling and calendars, to include logistics, the distribution of meeting invitations and organize agendas.
  • Lead all aspects of event or meeting management to include venues for events, set-up A/V equipment, whiteboards, catering, etc.
  • In coordination with HR, support employee recognition by tracking service anniversaries and other notable achievements, ordering and managing office gifts and swag.
  • Support administrative components of the employee experience (recruiting through off-boarding).
  • Support data entry and document management/tracking across a variety of functional areas. 
  • In coordination with TDI’s CFO, assist with completion, data entry and administrative reviews for contracts.
  • Write and/or review correspondence (i.e., emails or presentations) on behalf of the CEO or other business leaders.


  • Associates Degree with 4+ years of administrative work experience in an office environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams and Sharepoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Keen ability to follow direction and attention to detail
  • Basic business and office knowledge
  • High level of independence/self-motivated with task management
